Burgas and Sofia have moved forward to the final stage of Bulgaria’s selection process to host the Eurovision Song Contest in 2027, while Varna and Plovdiv have been eliminated after the completion of the first evaluation phase, BNT reported. The first round focused on technical and infrastructure requirements set by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), including the suitability of the proposed venues and their ability to meet the production standards required for one of the world’s largest music events.
