Donald Trump couldn’t seem to make up his mind on what Democrats should do now that Platner is out.

Platner issued the statement shortly after the new allegation was made public Monday.

The Maine Democrat again denies misconduct but is considering “the path forward,” which could mean withdrawal in favor of a new nominee.

Under Maine law, Platner has just one week — until next Monday — to remove his name from the ballot.

Platner is facing increasing pressure to drop out.
