Attempts to build a robotic footballer have so far not been a success, but Atlas appears to be pretty good with a ball at its feet.

The halftime appearance comes as the company continues to expand following its acquisition of a controlling stake in Boston Dynamics.

Meet Atlas, the 5-foot tall humanoid robot that delivered the World Cup match ball, has 56 points of movement on its body, and learned to play soccer.

It can also imitate Erling Haaland's meditation goal celebration
