The Take It Back (TIB) Movement has criticised the Oyo State Government and President Bola Tinubu’s administration over the continued captivity of abducted schoolchildren and teachers in the state, insisting that the recently imposed curfew across parts of Oyo cannot substitute for concrete efforts to secure their freedom.

The protesters, who stormed the busy Iwo Road area of Oyo State, lamented that the victims have been in captivity for 38 days, a situation they described as unacceptable.

Sowore made the revelation on Monday shortly after he was remanded in Kuje Prison by Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
