Police intercept R700,000 stolen Toyota Hilux destined for smuggling on N1

A stolen Toyota Hilux Legend Edition worth R700,000, allegedly destined for smuggling through the Beitbridge border, was recovered during an intelligence-driven operation on the N1 outside Polokwane. A 45-year-old suspect was arrested after police intercepted the vehicle, which had been reported stolen in Tshwane, as authorities continue investigating possible links to a cross-border vehicle smuggling syndicate.
