Legendary American R&B singer-songwriter Peabo Bryson, whose soulful duets and romantic ballads defined generations of music lovers, has died at the age of 75.

Beloved singer-songwriter Peabo Bryson, 75, is under medical care after suffering from a stroke, his family announced Sunday.

Peabo Bryson, whose hits included the pop versions of the "Aladdin" tune “A Whole New World” and the title song of “Beauty and the Beast,” has died.

He performed on "Beauty and the Beast" with Céline Dion and on “A Whole New World” with Regina Belle.
