The UAE has had a deeper involvement in the Middle East conflict than estimated. The United Arab Emirates had continued to carry out strikes on Iran through the conflict and even after the April ceasefire was announced.

The UAE launched dozens of covert airstrikes on Iranian targets with US and Israel support, sending oil above $105 per barrel and rattling crypto markets.

Wall Street Journal says Emirati strikes hit sites in Hormuz, Bandar Abbas, Lavan Island and Asaluyeh, exposing deeper Gulf involvement and tensions with Saudi Arabia
