The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has condemned Nigeria’s law enforcement agencies, accusing them of serving the interests of the wealthy elites rather than protecting ordinary citizens, following the arraignment and remand of a 19-year-old blogger in Lagos State. The blogger, Nurenorue Surpruchi, was on Friday arraigned before the Federal High Court in Lagos over alleged cyberstalking and defamatory publications targeting the Chairman of United Bank for Africa, Tony Elumelu.
