The advisory also emphasises traditional Indian remedies and simple lifestyle measures to help people cope with extreme heat.

As Delhi sizzles at 44°C, the Ministry of Ayush suggests 12 hydrating foods and drinks to keep your body cool and refreshed during the intense heatwave.
