Democrats in Pennsylvania will settle primary fights to shape their congressional slate for the fall, when they hope to capture four swing districts and ultimately a U.S.

Pennsylvania Democrats will pick nominees to unseat a trio of vulnerable Republican members of Congress in a state primary on Tuesday.

Pennsylvania’s primary is shaping up as a test of Gov. Josh Shapiro’s political capital ahead of a widely expected 2028 White House bid.

Much of the action is playing out in the Democratic primaries for congressional districts, especially those held by vulnerable Republicans.
