The President of the Agbekoya Reformed Society in Ogun State, Kunle Oshodi, has renewed calls for stronger government backing for self-determination groups, insisting that regional governance remains the most viable long-term solution to rising kidnappings and terrorist attacks in the South-West. Oshodi made the call while speaking on the worsening security situation in Yorubaland, alleging that criminal activities in the region are becoming increasingly organised and driven by influential sponsors with access to resources and long-standing networks.
