Igboho made the call on Tuesday while sympathising with families affected by the recent abduction of pupils, students and teachers during coordinated attacks on schools in Oyo State.
Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has called on the Nigerian Government and governors in the South-West region to urgently approve the operation of his proposed security outfit, Iru Ekun Security Network, to confront worsening insecurity and rising cases of kidnapping across Yorubaland.
Igboho made the call on Tuesday while sympathising with families affected by the recent abduction of pupils, students and teachers during coordinated attacks on schools in Oyo State.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the activist said he had completed all necessary procedures required to commence operations of the security network but was still awaiting official approval from the Federal Government and relevant security agencies.
“I’m only awaiting the approval of the government to tackle growing insecurity ravaging the South-West headlong,” he said.
