The Metropolitan Police said it has launched a probe into the graffiti sprayed on to the Royal Courts of Justice after receiving a report of 'criminal damage' and that enquiries are continuing.

The artwork, which shows a judge hitting a protester with a gavel, was confirmed by the elusive street artist.

Security guards were seen patrolling in front of a screen concealing the mural now confirmed as being by the guerilla graffiti artist as his latest creation.
