Delhi Declaration 2026: What did BRICS decide?
The 2026 BRICS Summit in New Delhi concluded with the New Delhi Declaration, demanding a more inclusive global order. The grouping pushed for comprehensive UN Security Council reforms to give emerging economies greater representation, backed by China and Russia for India and Brazil. Addressing international conflicts, BRICS called for restraint in West Asia, a ceasefire in Gaza, and decisive action against cross-border terrorism following the Pahalgam attack.
