Elders, leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta South Senatorial District have reaffirmed their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor, Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and other candidates of the party, vowing to mobilise for an overwhelming victory in the 2027 general election.
The party elders and leaders, who spoke at a Delta South Senatorial District mega meeting held on Thursday in Warri, also resolved to close ranks, reconcile aggrieved members and strengthen the party’s grassroots structures across the senatorial district.
They said the APC must translate the support and confidence it enjoys among the people into actual votes at the polls, declaring that Delta South was poised to reclaim its position as a formidable political force in the state.
Speaking at the meeting, the senator representing Delta South, Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, said the task before APC leaders and members was clear — to work collectively and deliver victory for the party and its candidates.
Thomas urged party members to return to their wards, units and communities to mobilise voters and convert the support for the APC into votes.
