Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in Ward 8, Ilishan-Remo, Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State, have pledged to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu and Senator Solomon Adeola ahead of the forthcoming elections.

The stakeholders made the commitment at a strategic meeting convened by a party chieftain in the ward, Olumide Awoyemi, at the Polo Club, Ibadan, on Saturday.

The meeting, according to a statement on Monday, which was attended by party leaders and officials, also focused on the political and socio-economic development of Ilishan-Remo.

Those in attendance included Omooba Adebanjo, a former member of the House of Representatives; James Adeyinka, Vice Chairman of Ikenne Local Government; Ogundepo James, a former ward chairman and member of the Local Government Executive Council; Oluwafemi Sofade, Ward Secretary; Motunrayo Agbomabiwon; and Mrs Obajimi, among other party members.

Speaking at the meeting, Awoyemi called for unity among party members and increased grassroots mobilisation ahead of the next electoral cycle.
