The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has pledged its renewed commitment to securing "one million votes" for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, despite its recent loss in the state governorship election.
The resolutions were reached at an expanded APC stakeholders’ meeting held after the just-concluded 2026 Osun State Governorship Election, where party leaders, stakeholders and members reviewed the outcome of the election and discussed the way forward for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
At the meeting, a motion for a vote of confidence in the leadership of Dr. Adegboyega Oyetola was moved by Hon. Kamil Oyedele, a former member of the Osun State House of Assembly representing Orolu and Irepodun Local Government areas, and seconded by Hon. Oyetunji Agunbiade.
