Social media reports surfaced earlier, claiming that over half the South African team was still awaiting travel documentation with less than 10 days remaining before the global event. The uncertainty sparked fears of squad disruptions and potential last-minute withdrawals.
Adding to the time crunch, the national squad was only officially announced last week — leaving the federation a tight window to clear administrative procedures and accommodate unforeseen processing backlogs.
However, ASA has insisted that there is no cause for panic, describing the staggered approvals as a normal part of international travel logistics.
