Five paralegals were arrested during an anti-Pax Silica protest outside an investment forum led by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., resulting in over two dozen injuries.
Human rights group Karapatan condemned the arrests, stating the paralegals were acting as defenders of human rights and called for their immediate release.
