New Delhi: Leading Russian technology, AI, aviation, space, nuclear, heavy engineering, mining and banking companies are showcasing their technologies at the maiden INNOPROM.India industrial fair (joint India-Russia exposition), as the two countries seek to expand industrial cooperation and boost joint projects that would also help reduce trade deficit.The three-day fair that opened on Wednesday featured Russian products and technologies across sectors including aviation, space, advanced manufacturing, industrial engineering and IT. PM Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin will undertake a joint visit to INNOPROM.India on Friday.Civil aviation is an emerging area of India-Russia partnership. Russia's state space corporation Roscosmos and global nuclear major Rosatom is also represented at the fair.
