The First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has been conferred with the traditional title of Ugo Eze Anambra by traditional rulers representing the 179 communities in Anambra State.

The title, which means “the glory of the king” or “a Royal Eagle”, was conferred on Tinubu by the Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe Chidubem Iweka, at the Dr Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, on Thursday.

Tinubu was in the state for a one-day working visit during which she launched the National Community Food Bank Programme for the South-East Zone.

She also commissioned an ICT centre at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, before participating in the launch of the food bank programme at the Old Government House, Amawbia.
