Ericsson has supported the deployment of a private 5G network at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP).
The network vendor has partnered with Insight Enterprises and the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) to deploy the private network, which supports critical operations at the airport.

Ericsson's private 5G network provides the airport with its own dedicated wireless infrastructure separate from public cellular and WiFi networks.
The vendor noted that it was selected by the MAC to deliver enterprise-grade wireless connectivity with the mobility, reliability, and coverage required for complex airport operations.
