Bunkerhill Health Names Dr. Azita Hamedani as First Chief Clinical Officer
Longtime academic health system executive and emergency physician joins Bunkerhill to lead clinical strategy as the company’s long-horizon AI agent takes on a widening set of clinical, operational, and administrative work for health systems.
Bunkerhill Health, whose long-horizon AI agent helps health systems translate their goals into outcomes, today announced the appointment of Azita G. Hamedani, MD, MPH, MBA, as its first Chief Clinical Officer.
Health systems give Bunkerhill's AI agent goals rather than sequences of commands, and it stays with those objectives for as long as the work takes. Bunkerhill's deep integrations with EHRs and ERPs, third-party platforms, and hundreds of other tools and connectors ensure the agent can interact with all of the systems and people necessary to get the work done: documenting in the chart, placing orders for clinician review, reaching patients and care teams across the channels they already use, and submitting forms and taking action in payer portals and other third-party platforms. The company's forward-deployed team designs and runs these capabilities with the health system's own experts.
