In Sumy, three people were killed and 14 others were wounded as a result of a Russian drone attack on a shopping and entertainment center.
Artem Kobzar, the acting mayor of Sumy, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“This evening, the enemy struck one of the city’s shopping centers in the Zarichny district. Preliminary reports indicate 14 casualties. There are fatalities,” the message reads.
All relevant emergency services are on the scene. Cleanup efforts following the strike are underway.
Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, specified that 14 people were taken to the hospital. Four are in serious condition.
