Being one-fourth of the international K-pop supergroup BLACKPINK is already more than one job. But in the trailer for the upcoming documentary Always Lalisa, group member LISA confronts the challenge of stepping away from the girl group she’s called home for the past decade to fully dive into a solo era that included performing at the opening ceremony for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, making her solo Coachella debut, serving on the 2026 Met Gala host committee and making her acting debut on the hit HBO series The White Lotus.

“I’m like, ‘you don’t have to do it this crazy,'” an unseen off-screen voice recalls telling the singer about her beyond packed 2025-2026 solo schedule. “She’s like, ‘no, I can do it.'”
