LISA Documentary About Her ‘Transformative Year Away From BLACKPINK’ Is Coming to Theaters

Always Lalisa will be available in IMAX and cinemas before streaming exclusively on YouTube Premium.

LISA of BLACKPINK is ready to show BLINKs what her life is like when she’s just, well, Lalisa. The K-pop superstar’s documentary about her solo year away from the girl group, Always Lalisa, is set for a theatrical release worldwide, as announced Wednesday (Sept. 2).

Directed by Sue Kim, Always Lalisa will open in global cinemas and IMAX on Oct. 12 before it heads to streaming on YouTube Premium later in the year. Tickets for the screenings will go on sale Sept. 9 via the film’s website.
