The Federal Government has introduced a fully automated system for the evaluation and authentication of academic certificates, allowing applicants to complete the process online without visiting the Federal Ministry of Education physically.

The Federal Ministry of Education announced the development as part of efforts to simplify access to government services and reduce delays associated with the traditional process.

Under the new system, applicants can submit their requests and complete the credential evaluation and authentication process through the Ministry’s dedicated online platform.

Education Minister, Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa, said the initiative represents an important step in the Federal Government’s digital transformation programme and is aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to the Ministry, the automated system is designed to reduce bureaucratic bottlenecks, speed up processing and improve transparency in academic credential verification.
