Brookfield plans to invest the capital across its infrastructure, energy, private equity, real estate and private credit strategies through a combination of funds, direct investments and co-investments, according to a statement seen by Bloomberg News.The Nuclear Liabilities Fund exists to pay for the future cost of decommissioning nuclear power stations in the U.K., and had £20.7 billion (US$28 billion) of assets as of March 2025. The unit packages investments from across Brookfield’s sprawling network into custom-made portfolios, rather than simply selling investors individual funds.“NLF has an exceptionally long investment horizon, and that creates an opportunity to invest differently,” Daglioglu said in the statement.
