According to RULAAC, Jennifer was initially arrested on August 31 after police operatives failed to locate her brother, Nwosu Kenechukwu, who is wanted in connection with a murder and cultism investigation in Awka.
The Rule of Law and Accountability Advocacy Centre (RULAAC) has raised an alarm over the safety, whereabouts, and legal status of Ms. Nwosu Chikamso Jennifer.
The alarm followed reports that the Anambra State Police Command rearrested her after she sought human rights intervention over her initial four-day detention and N600,000 extortion.
The rights organization disclosed on Tuesday that Jennifer has gone missing and her telephone line rendered unreachable shortly after she reported back to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in Awkuzu on Monday, September 7, as directed by the police.
