Snap’s Chief Business Officer Ajit Mohan is leaving the company after nearly four years, concluding a tenure during which he helped rebuild the Snapchat parent’s global advertising business.
Snap has appointed Ronan Harris, previously President of Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as Chief Commercial Officer.
Reporting directly to co-founder and CEO Evan Spiegel, Harris will lead the company’s advertising sales and go-to-market operations.
Mohan said in a LinkedIn post that personal considerations drove his decision.
His family remained in Singapore while his global responsibilities required him to travel frequently between New York, Los Angeles and Singapore over the past two years.
