Anmol Malhotra, a 10-year veteran of Snap, has been promoted to the role of global head of content and partnerships.

He assumes the role after Jim Shepherd, formerly Snap’s senior director of global content partnerships, recently exited to join Meta as senior director of content partnerships.

Malhotra most recently led sports and media partnerships at Snap. In the new job, he is in charge of managing Snapchat’s creator ecosystem, content strategy, editorial, community and global partnerships across sports, media, entertainment and music worldwide. As part of that, Malhotra oversees Snap’s international growth initiatives across North America, Europe, Middle East and North Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America.

Since joining Snap in 2015, Malhotra has been a key leader in Snap’s partnerships organization. As head of sports and media partnerships, he has worked with broadcasters, publishers, leagues and rights holders including NBC, ESPN, NFL, NBA, UFC, FIFA, the IOC and the U.K.’s Channel 4.

Prior to joining Snap, Malhotra worked at global asset management firm BlackRock. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business and lives in New York City.
