Hiring prospects in Greece will improve in the fourth quarter, with the seasonally adjusted Net Employment Outlook (NEO) rising to 15%, according to Manpower Group’s latest Employment Outlook Survey released on Tuesday.
The survey of 528 employers found that the NEO for October-December was up seven percentage points from the previous quarter and unchanged from the same period in 2025.
Greece ranked 35th among the countries surveyed globally. Some 54% of employers expect to maintain current staffing levels in the fourth quarter, while 28% plan to increase headcount.
Another 16% expect to reduce staff and 2% remain uncertain about staffing changes.
The Hospitality sector recorded the strongest hiring outlook in Greece in the survey, with an NEO of 37%, up 34 percentage points from the previous quarter – the largest quarterly improvement among the sectors surveyed.
