The Benue State Government has rejected the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, Peter Obi’s, claim that he was blocked by thugs allegedly working for the state government from accessing Yelwata.
The government also dismissed claims that it sent state-sponsored thugs to block his convoy along the Gboko Road on Tuesday, citing a lack of prior protocol notification and rejecting allegations of political high-handedness.
