Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress, NDC, Mr Peter Obi, on Tuesday arrived in Jos, Plateau State, ahead of his solidarity visit to Mangu Local Government Area, following the recent deadly attack on communities in the area.

Obi was received at the Yakubu Gowon Airport, Heipang, by Plateau State executives and chieftains of the NDC.

Our correspondent gathered that the visit is aimed at identifying with victims and families affected by the recent attack, which reportedly left several residents dead, others injured and properties destroyed.

Party supporters and other stakeholders gathered to receive Obi, who is expected to proceed to Mangu to assess the situation and interact with victims, community leaders and other stakeholders.
