Victor Osimhen is set to return to action for Galatasaray against Kasımpaşa and Barcelona next month, after being ruled out for three matches following an adductor muscle injury, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

The Super Eagles striker sustained the injury in the first half of Galatasaray’s 3-2 victory over İstanbul Başakşehir on Friday, having opened the scoring with a powerful strike into the top corner before he was replaced by Barış Alper Yılmaz in the 33rd minute.

According to a report from Turkish outlet Le Marca Sports, a scan later confirmed that Osimhen had suffered a strain in his right adductor muscle, with the injury set to keep him out for three matches across all competitions.

The Nigerian is expected to miss the UEFA Champions League clash against Sporting Lisbon, as well as Super Lig fixtures against Kocaelispor and Trabzonspor, before returning for the Turkish Cup tie against Kasımpaşa on October 11 and the Champions League meeting with Barcelona two days later.
