Ukrainian Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara and Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mykhailo Drapatyi briefed the national security advisors of France, Germany and the United Kingdom – Emmanuel Bonne, Guenter Sautter and Jonathan Powell – on the situation on the battlefield.
According to Ukrinform, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
Khmara stressed that Ukraine is preparing for the possibility that Russia may announce a new wave of mobilization.
The sides discussed potential challenges and the capabilities needed to reduce Russia's ability to wage war.
"One important area is deep strike. It is one of the tools that can deprive Russia of the ability to finance its aggression against Ukraine. At the same time, comprehensive work with partners to increase sanctions pressure on Russia remains essential," the ministry said.
