A 27-YEAR-OLD man was killed and another man critically injured in a shooting in Woodbrook yesterday.Police said several gunshots were heard along Murray Street about 12.25 a.m.People in the area subsequently found two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.One of the men, identified as 27-year-old Romel Ash, of Girez Lane, El Socorro, died on the road.The second man, a 28-year-old from Barataria, was found in Adam Smith Square bleeding from gunshot wounds to his right hand and head.Police and paramedics were notified, and the injured man was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital where he remained in critical condition up to late yesterday.Officers from the Woodbrook Police Station responded to the scene, which was cordoned off; several spent shells were recovered.Police have no motive yet for the shooting.
