Ukrainian Defense Forces units struck the Ryazan oil refinery, the Rostov-on-Don airfield, and three Russian air defense assets overnight on September 6.

As reported by Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook.

“The oil refinery in Ryazan, Ryazan region, Russia, was hit. A fire was reported on the premises of the facility. The refinery is involved in supplying the armed forces of the Russian aggressor,” the statement said.

The Rostov-on-Don airfield in Russia’s Rostov region was also struck. A fire was reported in the area of the facility.

In addition, Ukrainian forces struck a Podlyot radar station and two Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery systems in the Rostov region.
