U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner plan to visit Moscow and Kyiv this weekend.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a video address, according to Ukrinform.
“Today, it has been clearly established that U.S. envoys will be in Ukraine and Russia in the coming days. We have the details from the U.S. President’s team. We discussed today that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will visit Moscow and then Kyiv on Sunday. We are preparing for the visit,” Zelensky said.
He added that a meeting had been held with the Ukrainian broad diplomatic team working with the United States.
As the head of state emphasized, during the visit Ukraine will ensure the normal functioning of Russian airspace.
