Russian forces launched a strike on Odesa overnight on September 4, killing one person and injuring at least three others.
Odesa Regional Military Administration head Serhii Lysak said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"This morning in Odesa began with an enemy attack. At this point, three people are known to have been injured. They are receiving the necessary medical assistance," Lysak said.
He added that residential buildings and cars were damaged in one of the city's districts. All concerned emergency services are working at the scene, with authorities surveying the area and documenting the damage. An emergency response center is being set up to assist residents.
