Two police officers have been injured after a vehicle thought to be stolen crashed into a car during a police chase in Grimsby.A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with multiple offences including dangerous driving, taking a motor vehicle and possession of a class B drug.It follows reports of a car being stolen on Byron Grove in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, on Wednesday.Officers were called at around 1pm and a chase ensued – with the car then allegedly colliding with a marked police vehicle.Both vehicles came to a stop and two officers were taken to hospital to receive treatment for injuries.The teenager has been charged with dangerous driving; possession of a class C drug; two counts of driving without a licence; two counts of driving without insurance; making off without payment; taking a motor vehicle; possession of a class B drug; aggravated vehicle taking; and driving a vehicle without the owner's consent.He has been remanded into 'secure accommodation' and will appear at court at a later date.Byron Grove is a residential area in the Nunsthorpe area of Grimsby.
