Six suspects have been arrested by the Delta State Police Command for allegedly dealing in illicit drugs.
The suspects, identified as Anabel Haruna, 18; Terhemen Faith, 19; Kaityo Abigail, 23; Iorkee Eunice, 26; Osomuri Emmanuel, 31; and a 15-year-old female juvenile whose identity was withheld, were arrested by operatives of the Department of Operations while on routine patrol along Alegwe Street, off Owa Road, Agbor.
A statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer for the command, SP Bright Edafe, and made available to journalists in Warri on Thursday, said the operatives, acting on credible intelligence, raided a store suspected to be used for the sale of illicit drugs.
The statement said the operation was conducted “in furtherance to the marching order by Commissioner of Police, Samuel E. Erale.”
