The Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet near the Millerovo airfield in Russia’s Rostov region and a Ka-27 helicopter near the Yeysk airfield in Krasnodar Krai in strikes carried out on August 27 and 30.
As reported by Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a post on Facebook.
“Following an analysis of additional data, the destruction of a Ka-27 helicopter near the Yeysk airfield in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai on August 30, 2026, has been confirmed. The destruction of a MiG-29 aircraft near the Millerovo airfield in Russia’s Rostov region on August 27, 2026, has also been confirmed,” the statement said.
In addition, on September 1 and overnight into September 2, Defense Forces units struck a number of military targets of Russian forces.
An ammunition depot was hit in Volodymyrivka, Donetsk region.
