The Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes against Russian military infrastructure across occupied territories and within Russia on Aug. 29 and Aug. 30, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported. The strikes targeted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) warehouse belonging to the “Rubicon” unit in Khartsyzk and a drone control point near Chumatske in the Donetsk region. Furthermore, logistics warehouses were hit in Berdianske and Hirnyk in the Donetsk region, as well as in Krasnosilske in occupied Crimea. Inside Russian territory, the military reported striking a radar station in Pavlychi, located in the Bryansk region. The General Staff also confirmed the destruction of a Russian Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile-gun system on Aug. 27 near Kletnya, also in the Bryansk region, following an analysis of additional data. Military officials stated that operations targeting key Russian military sites are ongoing. Ongoing strikes against Russian air defenses and logistics The latest operations follow a wave of Ukrainian strikes targeting Russian military infrastructure on Aug. 28 and 29. According to the General Staff, these earlier strikes hit storage, preparation, and launch facilities for attack drones near occupied Donetsk and Gvardiyske in Crimea. Additional strikes targeted an electronic warfare complex near Znamianka in Crimea and a UAV control point in Berestky in the Donetsk region. Military officials are still assessing the full extent of the damage to those facilities.
