Ukrainian Defense Forces units struck a site used for storing, preparing and launching attack drones near temporarily occupied Donetsk on August 20 and overnight into August 21. They also struck a Russian logistics depot in Novosilske in temporarily occupied Crimea.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

In addition, two Russian command posts were struck in Zaporizke, Donetsk region, and Kobylnе, Zaporizhzhia region.

Among other targets, Ukrainian forces struck six ground relay stations in Crimea used to control Geran and Gerbera attack drones: two in Sterehushche, three near Olenivka, and one in Chornomorske.

A ground relay station transmits control and communication signals between an operator and a drone, extending its operational range and improving the stability of its use.
