If anyone asks to produce and supply such banners, information must be provided to the nearest police stations. Action will be taken if posters and banners contain slogans inciting caste or religious violence, or photographs that threaten the public,” he warned.Posters and banners must feature details including the name of the producer and a mobile phone number, he said.Speaking to reporters, he said, “To ensure that putting up posters and banners does not create law and order issues, we have provided appropriate instructions to printing presses and banner producers.” “Those going to pay homage at leaders’ memorials must not travel in rental vehicles. Those traveling in private vehicles and buses must obtain due permission. If there are any doubts regarding the regulations, DSP offices and police stations can be contacted,” he noted.
