Britain's largest discounter will close on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, before reopening to shoppers on Sunday, December 27, 2026. Stores will also remain closed on New Year's Day, January 1, and reopen on Saturday January, 2, 2027.‌Opening hours will differ locally in the run-up to Christmas, with many branches extending their trading times to help shoppers get everything they need for the festive season.‌Rachel Geary, Communications Director at Aldi UK, said: "Christmas is a special time for our customers, but it is also one of the busiest periods of the year for our teams. Our colleagues work incredibly hard to ensure customers can pick up everything they need ahead of the big day."We never take that effort for granted.
