Home Bargains, which employs around 28,000 staff, confirmed on Tuesday that its stores will close on Christmas Day, December 25, Boxing Day, December 26, and New Year's Day, January 1.While no further comment has been made at this stage, when Home Bargains announced the same news in 2025, a spokesperson said: "Our colleagues work incredibly hard throughout the year, and we want to recognise that commitment. As a family-run business, we understand the importance of spending time with family and friends, particularly over the holidays."We're proud to give our teams additional time off to enjoy the festive season."
