Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) is continuing to promote education and knowledge by bringing students and academics closer to the operation of a modern port.During the first half of 2026, a total of 557 students and university professors visited the Port of Piraeus, where they attended presentations on key port activities and took part in organised tours.Through direct contact with the port ecosystem, visitors had the opportunity to gain a better understanding of how the Port of Piraeus operates, as well as its role in the economy and international connectivity.PPA thanked the educational institutions that choose Piraeus as a destination for educational visits, highlighting the importance of strengthening links between the port and the wider academic and educational community.
