Egypt-based edtech startup 3C Coding School has raised $3 million in a seed round led by MRG Economic Group, with participation from investor Amr Saad and a group of strategic angel investors.
Founded in 2015 by Hossam Hosny and Ahmed Khallaf, 3C Coding School provides coding and technology education for children and young people, offering programmes across software development, data science, AI, machine learning, game development and cybersecurity.
The funding will be used to enter the Saudi Arabian market, strengthen 3C’s technology infrastructure and accelerate the development and deployment of its AI-powered personalised learning platform.
The new platform will use AI to analyse students’ learning patterns and progress, support instructors and adapt course content to individual students’ pace and abilities.
